  Very friendly church. Mass is always on time. Fr. J is involved with the Parish and easy to talk to. I would recommend this church to anyone trying to decide to go or not. It has lots of active groups as well!

  St. Peter's is a great parish with an active, friendly community. It easy to get caught up in the majesty of God here.

  I have traveled to Joplin and attended this Roman Catholic Church and found it to be a hidden treasure. The beauty and the magnificence of the statues and the interior design of the Church has left me in awe and added to my worship experience. T o my dismay, the church is undergoing a renovation. I look forward to attending church there, in a future visit, after the renovation is completed. If you are a Roman Catholic living in Joplin, you must attend mass here to understand my pleasant surprise and awe of the beauty of this Church.

  While in town visiting, we attended mass at St. Peter. What an amazingly beautiful church, from it's grand alter to the stained glass windows. This church has been restored to a worship space that is breathtaking . If you live in Joplin, MO you are blessed with such a treasure! We will definitely celebrate mass at St. Peter again while visiting.

  What a joy to worship with a catholic community that recognizes music as a ministry and prayer. The parish is beautiful in prayer and structure.
